I would NOT recommend due to their customer service. I made my reservation a few weeks ahead of time on booking.com. I booked 2 rooms for 2 nights. Unexpectedly I had to cancel 2 days before because there was a strike going on by the trade union at all 7 German airports and all flights were cancelled (including mine). I tried to rebook travel anywhere I could was unsuccessful since everything was shut down. Through booking.com, I requested to have the cancellation fee waived (50% of the rate) because this was totally out of our control. Every time I called the front desk agent told me that a manager needed to approve the waived fee and one agent even told me that "it would get taken care of". After several requests, I was finally able to speak to a manager. She told me that it was booking.com policy to charge the fee. I had spoken to booking.com several times who told me it was up to the hotel to waive it. Even though I was told it would be handled and refunded since it was a unique scenario and out of our control, the managers never contacted me to return the fees. Because of this scenario, I DO NOT recommend this hotel and when I go to Munich I will not be booking here.

It was a pleasure to organize a conference in the Parkhotel Rothof. Location: Lovely. Surrounded by a park with lawns and many old trees! Before the conference: The communication flow before the conference was easy, friendly and efficient. We had to move the event twice due to the pandemics and the manager was, nevertheless, very accomodating. Conference room: The conference room on the ground floor had the direct access to lawn and the park where participants could walk between the sessions. Big floor to ceiling windows provided us with enough day light and the beautiful views of nature. Staff: The staff was very helpful and efficient. Everything went as discussed in detail prior to the meeting. Special highlight: Good food and very friendly staff at the restaurant nearby where the hotel guests can eat, as there is no restaurant integrated in the hotel directly. Accomodation: Rooms were clean and the participants pleased with the accomodation.

We stayed for a weekend at Hotel Rothof and very much enjoyed our stay. The rooms are very nice with a balcony. Service was friendly, and the highlight for me was the superb breakfast! You could see the care and thought they put into it, I liked the selection and presentation. I can only recommend the hotel and would stay there again when in Munich.

We stayed already twice in this hotel. It´s very clean, rooms are big and nicely done. Location is perfect - rooms direction park are very calm. Breakfast was fanstastic. During this pandemic situation they offered 3 different menus as and you could choose what you want to eat (definitely bettern then open buffet).

A truly wonderful hotel. Everything was amazing, this is one of the best hotel in Bavaria. I booked the hotel on line after having been in touch with one of the receptionists by phone. The communication was outstanding, I felt I got all the information I needed during the booking process. The staff was helpful and friendly. I arrived early in the morning coming from the airport and I went to the city for two meetings. I got a nice cup of coffee, they offered to take my luggage to the room once that was ready and I was offered an upgraded room with a park view. Breakfast was one of the best I've ever had. The fitness facilities are state of the art, the hotel is connected to a proper gym/fitness club in Munich. The room was beautifully and tastefully decorated. I had an early start after two nights of staying at Rothof and I was welcomed and greeted in the morning by yet another friendly member of staff who made me a cup of coffee and made sure I didn't leave without my take away breakfast. Great experience, thanks again!
